Monthly Meetings
Our monthly support group meetings are the heart of TCF.
In this caring environment, bereaved parents, adult siblings, and family can talk freely about their emotions and experiences and receive the understanding support of others who have “been there”. This sharing time allows members to express their feelings, but no one needs to share unless they wish. Anything said during a meeting is held in confidence. The meetings may also include a brief program or speaker.
You Are Not Alone
Meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of each month from 7:30-9pm (including holidays).
If you are new, we invite you to arrive at 7pm (more information below).

Your First Meeting
Please plan to arrive early at 7:00pm to meet the meeting’s leader and for a quick orientation. No reservation or fee needed. Park in the lot at the corner of Freitas Parkway and Del Ganado or on the street.
Come as You Need To
Bring a friend or spouse or alone. You can talk if you want to but don’t have to
Three Meetings Recommended
Often, the first meeting brings a lot of emotions to the surface and this may make the first meeting difficult. Attending three meetings gives you time enough to allow your emotions to even out and to understand that in sharing there is healing. By attending three meetings you will also be able to observe the different dynamics of the group as different members attend and share.
